I’ve been a huge fan of games that offer great visuals. Action-adventure games have been my thing for the past few days and I would love to experience playing it in a fascinating world. What action -adventure games can you recommend?

Mine would be Hollow Knight.  I thought it would be too hard for me to enjoy but I ended up LOVING it.  

Unexpected favorite

I just finished watching gameplays of the new Armored Core and it looked so much fun. It got me thinking about my 'perfect' game.

- 4X, because it's my favorite genre
- Complex simulation with weather, natural disaster, and much more complex AI
- Freedom to develop and build my own "Wonders" instead of following pre-defined ones. It should be like the Path of Exile skill tree. lol
- Shorter sessions compared to Civ 6, preferably 2-4 hours
- As for visuals, maybe something like Endless Legends

If you were to design the perfect game for yourself, how will it play/look like?

I can't seem to beat the tutorial boss on PS5. I'm currently on my 9th try lmao. I beat it on the PC earlier on my 2nd try. Maybe I was wrong? Maybe mouse + kb controls aren't that bad? That or I just got lucky haha.

What gives???

This question is not to look down on casual streamers, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I've seen a lot of streamers who are not that good in a particular game but gain a lot of support and public attention, while there are pro players who happen to stream the same game as what the streamer is playing but are struggling to get enough support from the people despite the fact that they are sharing tons of helpful tips on how to play the game and become more competitive. Some would even just wear nonsense costumes or daring outfits just to attract viewers instead of imparting some helpful tips on how to properly play a game. What do you think are the reasons behind it? Do people appreciate more famous individuals instead of the people who can help them upgrade their skills? Is it true that more people only watch streams for fun instead of gaining some knowledge from the person who is streaming? What is your take on this matter?

Why is it that most streamers are more in the limelight of the streaming industry than skilled pro players?

For me, it's Sengoku Dynasty. I just finished a livestream with it and I think it might be interesting. I'll play more of it this week.

There are numerous sword experts in the video game realm. Cutting down enemies and slicing their way towards the different levels in a game, these swordsmen proved that they will never be outclassed easily by other characters that are holding different type of weapons. Who was the coolest swordsman you have played so far? Mine happens to be Vergil with his classy katana called "Yamato".

Yesterday was a bit hectic so this is (again) a bit late. I'm back in the office and we're busy trying to keep whatoplay afloat.

For this week's recommendation thread, the rules are simple:

- Recommend a good game but you haven't finished (yet).

For me it's Spec Ops: The Line. It's a really good game. I'm even close to finishing it. But, for some reasons, it just freezing on me. I tried un/reinstalling. That must have been my PC. I built a new PC but I haven't had a chance to get back to it.

Have you ever pirated a game?

Do you use emulators?

Personally, when I was much younger, I had no choice but to pirate if I wanted to play PC games as my mom wouldn't buy any for me.  In the Philippines, especially in the 90s and early 2000s piracy was pretty rampant.  In some circles, it still is today.

Now that I am older and have the money to spend on games, as much as I can, I support the games that I have pirated in the past.



But I also believe that game demos should be more common -- this is so everyone can test the game whether it's up to their liking, or whether or not their hardware could run it (especially for lower end PCs).  These days, so many games are falsely advertised and won't look, nor feel as good as they seem in the ads... this is why I appreciate demos.  



As for emulations, from what I can tell they're mostly games from very old platforms.  Nintendo is slowly letting people play these older games again on the Switch (behind the Nintendo Switch Online paywall).  I recognize that I do have the privilege to pay for that, and I am happy to do so... but the current library is nowhere near complete.  


I don't know for sure, but I feel like people emulating older games, help the developers in some way, by keeping the brand and interest alive.

Hello Gamers. Here, every year, Friendship Day is observed annually on the first Sunday in August and since today, is also the first Sunday of the August month, therefore, **Happy Friendship Day to all gamers**.

Just like, our normal lives are imperfect without friends, similarly, our gaming life too is incomplete without friends, as you can't rely on those randumb (random) teammates, who throw & don't coordinate with you. We all have tons of memories playing video games with our friends. From playing a local co-op match of Counter Strike in a gaming cafe to playing CS-GO with a friend that lives overseas, moreover friendly firing or throwing flashbang grenades to stun them, going to different sites from the decided one but also remember buying them guns for each other whenever in case of short money, exchanging the same guns because of the skins, gifting them skins and not leaving them alone, combating together inspite of low health and thereby, winning the match. Playing Ludo, Uno, Monopoly, etc. Board/Card games online especially, Among Us and creating chaos, blaming each other in the discussion part in lockdown. Some things never change like playing on a potato pc, completing difficult missions in GTA Vice City, San Andreas and now  playing GTA V, on a powerful gaming pc doing all quests, modes and heists missions together. This doesn't end here. Battling together like warriors in Pubg, Call of Duty, Dota, League of Legends, Genshin Impact, etc. action packed games to Growing a village in Minecraft, peaceful community in Sims, or living as a farmer's life in Stardew Valley, etc. cozy games. I always say any horror game becomes a funny game, if you play with your friends. Apart from that, challenging each other to beat their high score in Subway Surfers, Temple Run, Jetpack Joyride, etc. endless games. And how can we forget those silly things we did back then, like posting the game's progress on a friend's Facebook profile publically in order to earn rewards and energy for games like Candy Crush, Criminal case and other games. Wasn't it amazing, going on a tour, exploring the city to catch Pokemon in Pokemon Go with friends? Every 90's kid would relate to sharing controllers, gameboy or games in a pendrive like GTA, NFS, Bully, Prince of Persia, Roadrash, IGI and so many other games. In short, no matter what platform it was - Nes games, Pc Games, Mobile Games, Console - Xbox, PS, Games, Switch Games or any other platform, no matter how the graphics were, without caring about the rank, we all grew up playing games together. And all these are some inseparable memories of a gamer's life. I know some of the gamers might not relate it, because of lack of friends they have to play solo. But the definition of a friend doesn't mean you have to be a mate of someone who's is a stranger or unknown to you. A friend can be anyone your family members, cousins, relatives, work colleagues or any other person.

Hence, in this post, I would like you all to **Comment down your special gaming memories with your friends**. Share it with them as well, in order to remind them how you all had fun and reconnect with each other by playing those games with them to relive those memories. Also, **suggest a party co-op game to play with your friends** because the more, the merrier.

Hello there. I recently noticed the changes in this website. Although May I ask, why did they remove the number of reviews a profile has? It is a good way for me to at least track my progress for every game I am playing and reviewing.
