Maximum Entertainment is coming to GDC San Francisco! But, before that, they had a few exciting announcements to share.
In a blog post, the Swedish publisher revealed announcements and trailers for their 2024 lineup.
One of the games highlighted was Until Then. The visual novel adventure features a time-bending story set in the Philippines. Maximum Entertainment announced the official release date with a new trailer. It will launch on May 23 on PC and PS5.
The publisher also announced platforms for upcoming adventure Selfloss. The publisher plans to release it on PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch. Together with this announcement, Maximum published a new trailer for the game. It showed exciting glimpses of combat and exploration for the slavic-inspired title.
Two other trailers were included in the publisher's update. One was for Squirrel With A Gun, a simulator game about a criminal rodent.
The other is for the highly-anticipated strategic first person shooter, Wild Bastards.
Aside from upcoming games, Maximum also included announcements for released games.
Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise Of The Dragons first released in July 27, 2023. In 2024, it will get a new DLC called Sacred Reunion. It's a major update which will come free for owners of the game. It's set to release on April 14.
Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of Dragons is a highly-rated game. Released on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch, it has its highest playscore on PC with 8.5
Maximum Entertainment also has surprises for in-person participants of GDC San Francisco. These include exclusive hands-on demos of SunnySide and Spirit of the North 2.
GDC San Francisco will be held from March 18 to 22.
