Eager island explorers on consoles will soon be getting a taste of Snowcastle's cozy co-op adventure.
Publisher Jetpack Collective has just announced an official PlayStation and Xbox release date for Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure. Jetpack confirmed the game’s release on March 21 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PS4.
The console release will be the 1.5 version of Ikonei Island which includes the new Blooming Beginnings update. The update will release on PC on the same day.
Developers Snowcastle will be adding siginificant upgrades in the Blooming Beginnings update. These upgrades include an improved farming system.
A new seasonal update is also on the horizon this month, Jetpack Collective said.
Coco-Cloudberry Craze is Ikonei Island’s fourth seasonal event. Kicking off on March 28th, the event will feature easter activities like egg hunting. New Easter outfits and the Coco-Cloudberry Blossom plant will also be added.
“We have to thank our community for their incredible support and feedback and without doubt they have helped make Ikonei Island into a better game than it was at launch,” said Bendick Stang, the CEO of Snowcastle Games.
In Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure, players get to explore an island populated with magical creatures. Players can harness the creatures’ magical abilities. These new abilities will allowing players to explore more of the island and uncover its mysteries.
Ikonei Island is also slated to release on Switch. Unfortunately, the publisher did not make any updates on the version’s release.
